The Kotel is essentially the holiest place for the Jewish people for centuries following the destruction of the Holy Temples. It is a place where the prayers of the entire world converge and ascend to Heaven. At the base of the Kotel, people from all walks of life come together to pour out their hearts before G-d. I have tried to capture in this painting the energy and emotions one can feel in this most precious place.
